Kahn Academy
A library of over 2,400 videos that cover everything from arithmetic to physics, finance, and history and 125 practice exercises.

​An exciting, free resource that brings standardsbased digital video to every K12 classroom in South Carolina (including home schools!). The content originates from Discovery Education (Discovery Education Streaming), who has an existing library of more than 50,000 video clips and is the leader in multimedia based learning. There is also South Carolina content from ETV and ITV. In addition to video, schools have access to a high resolution image library; quiz, assignment and writing prompt builders; black line masters and teachers’ guides; and a calendar of events that ties video and image content to important dates in history.

HSLDA Homeschool Legal Defense Association

SCHEA South Carolina Home Educators Association
SCHEA was formed in 1987 and was instrumental in convincing the state legislature to create the first SC law requiring recognition of home schooling in 1988. Today volunteer homeschoolers from across the state continue to work through SCHEA to create opportunities and support to the home school community in SC. Website offers everything you need to know about homeschooling in SC.
