Barnes & Nobles and Books A Million offer the Educational Discount card for homeschoolers. You can get a 20% discount off the publisher's list price without paying for their book club card. Discount applies to hardback and paperback titles for use in the classroom. Ask at the Customer Service desk to fill out an application for the educators discount.

Classes and Activities

Celestial Stars Arts Academy in West Columbia has classes for ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, creative movement, voice, music games, and keyboard. A $5 reduction per month is given homeschoolers. Call 939-1129 for more inormation.

The Fun Zone, an indoor playground located off Hwy. 378 behind McAllister's in Lexington, will give $1.00 off with your REACH ID card.

The SC State Museum offers free admission to schools and homeschools. Ask the front desk how to register your school and receive free admission all the time. Be prepared to show your REACH membership card.
